The General Ledger Viewer lets you explore your General Ledger data in ways not
previously possible! Open multiple windows to one or more General Ledger
companies with view choices of summary account information, detail
transactions, or a comparative 2-year trial balance. Views are presented in
our very popular interactive grids.
With the Interactive Grids, you can summarize, filter, sort, hide/unhide columns, create your own drill-downs, and even export to MS-Excel©. From the Summary Account information view, you can click on an account summary and drill-down to the detail transactions. The company main window includes many pre-filters where you to refine your data search. The filters are preloaded with drop-down, look-up tables of your organization codes, accounts, and source codes. There is a special look-up by transaction description that uses a wildcard search to locate matching records. The information presented in the Grid Views and Reports is so much more than what is provided by the standard PRMS© GL application. For example, with our Viewer, you can select and view up to 12 months of both monthly and YTD, and we include hidden GL fields that are inaccessible by your current options. Each view is accompanied by a corresponding printable report. The reports are initially presented in print preview mode. While viewing the report on the screen, there are built in drill-down option that allow you to quickly and easily navigate to specific information. From print preview, you can print, email or export your report.
